CHANGES TO THE FIFA LAWS OF THE GAME

LAW I The field.
A. Dimensions: 30 yards in length by 20 yards in width.
B. Markings
1. Distinctive lines not more than five (5) inches wide
2. A halfway line shall be marked out across the field
3. A center circle with an three (3) yards radius
4. Corner arcs each with a two (2) foot radius
5. Goal area two (2) yards from each goal post and two (2) yards into the field of play, joined by a line drawn parallel with the goal line
6. No penalty area
7. No penalty arc
8. Technical area extends eight (8) yards on either side of the halfway line and one (1) yard from the touch line
C. Goals will be four (4) feet high and eight (8) feet wide
LAW II The ball.
Size three (3) and “FIFA APPROVED” or “APPROVED” if possible (LCSC requests that home team provide the ball for competition)
LAW III Number of players.
A. Maximum number of players on the field at any one time is three (3)
B. Minimum number of players on the field at any one time is three (3)
C. Maximum number of players on the roster should not exceed six (6)
D. Substitutions may take place at the quarter stoppages of play
1. All substitute players and coaches must remain in the technical area during the match
E. Playing time: Each player WILL play a minimum of 50% of the total playing time with the exceptions of injury and disciplinary action
F. Teams and games may be coed
LAW IV Players equipment:
A. A jersey or shirt (must be worn on the outside)
B. Shorts (with reasonable exception for weather consideration)
C. Shin guards, made of suitable material, provide a reasonable degree of protection, and must be covered entirely by socks
D. Footwear: Tennis shoe or rubber cleated soccer shoe (no center toe cleats allowed)
E. NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND, it must be removed. Also only soft hair accessories
F. No goal keepers
LAW V Referee (Conforms to FIFA)
LAW VI NO assistant referee
LAW VII Duration of the match
A. The match shall be divided into two (2) equal halves of sixteen (16) minutes each
B. Each half shall be divided into two (2) equal halves (quarters) ending at a natural stoppage of play after the seventh (7th) minute of play
C. There shall be a half time break of five (5) minutes
D. The referee has the discretion to add time for injuries or excessive time wasted for any other stoppage in play
LAW VIII Start of play (conforms to FIFA with the following exceptions)
A. Opponent must be three (3) yards away from the center mark while the kick off is in process
B. In the event of a two-touch, ball will be placed again for a kick off and explanation to the player that they may only kick the ball once. If a second two-touch occurs, the other team gets a free kick from the spot of the second offense.

A. If a player errs on a throw in, referee explains the mistake and gives one (1) second chance

Penalty area fourteen (14) yards from each goal post and fourteen (14) yards into the field of play, joined by a line drawn parallel with the goal line 7. Penalty arc eight (8) yards from spot of the penalty kick 8. Technical area extends eight (8) yards on either side of the halfway line and one (1) yard from the touch line C. Goals will be seven (7) feet high and twenty one (21) feet wide LAW II The ball. Size four (4) and “FIFA APPROVED” or “APPROVED” if possible (LCSC requests that home team provide the ball for competition) LAW III Number of players. A. Maximum number of players on the field at any one time is six (6) including the goal keeper B. Minimum number of players on the field at any one time is five (5) including the goal keeper C. Maximum number of players on the roster should not exceed eleven (11) D. Substitutions may take place at any stoppage of play, the procedure is thus: 1. The referee is asked before any proposed substitution is made 2. A substitute only enters the field of play after the player being replaced has left the field and after receiving a signal from the referee to enter the field 3. A substitute only enters the field of play at midfield 4. ALL substitutes and substitutions are subject to the authority and jurisdiction of the referee 5. Goal keepers can be changed during a stoppage, with the referees permission, prior to the change 6. All substitute players and coaches must remain in the technical area during the match E. Playing time: Each player WILL play a minimum of 50% of the total playing time with the exceptions of injury and disciplinary action F. Teams and games may be coed LAW IV Players equipment: A.
